Community Boss Fights

The community boss fight system allows players to collectively battle powerful bosses

How It Works

  1. Boss Spawn: Admins can start a boss battle using the !start_boss_battle <boss_name> command, or bosses can spawn automatically at scheduled intervals.

  2. Participation: Players join the fight by using the !event boss attack command in the designated #world-events channel.

  3. Damage Calculation: Each player's attack power is calculated, and damage is applied to the boss.

  4. Boss Health: The boss's health decreases with each attack until it reaches zero.

  5. Battle Status: Periodic updates are sent to the channel to inform players of the boss's remaining health.

  6. End of Battle: When the boss is defeated, rewards are distributed to participants based on their contribution.

Purpose

  • Collaboration: Encourages players to work together to defeat powerful bosses.

  • Engagement: Provides a dynamic and exciting event for players to participate in.

  • Rewards: Offers valuable rewards such as gold and gems to participants.

Outcome

  • Victory: If the boss is defeated, participants receive rewards based on their damage contribution.

  • Defeat: If the boss is not defeated within the time limit, the event ends without rewards.
