  1. Cities and Zones

Boat System

The Boat System provides scheduled city-to-city travel with fixed times and shared experiences, promoting community interaction. In contrast, the Travel System allows flexible, user-initiated zone-to-zone travel within cities, with dynamic travel times and NPC interactions. The Boat System focuses on immersion and simplicity, while the Travel System emphasizes personalized exploration and freedom.

To use the Boat System

  • Check Status: Use !captain to see the boat's current location and status.

  • Board the Boat: Use the "Board the Boat" button when the boat is docked in your city.

  • Disembark: Use the "Disembark" button to leave the boat when docked at a city.

  • Notifications: Receive updates in the #boat channel about arrivals and departures.

Travel is city-to-city on a fixed schedule, so plan accordingly!
